This system will provide secure, efficient, and reliable access to domestic water via two (2) access terminals with credit card payment capability, a cellular communication package, and an annual cloud based service and mobile app. The proposed system will enable the City to centrally manage customer accounts, control access permissions, track usage, and generate reports while minimizing local IT infrastructure requirements. Project Objectives The City seeks a turnkey solution that:o Improves customer convenience through multiple payment and account options. o Enhances administrative efficiency with centralized management and reporting tools. o Ensures secure, controlled access to bulk water resources. o Minimizes downtime and ensures high services availability. o Eliminates the need for City-owned server or IT hardware maintenance. System Components 1. Two (2) Access Terminals: o Weatherproof, durable enclosures suitable for outdoor installation in Alaskan weather conditions, especially low temperatures down to -40deg F. o Credit card payment acceptance. o Debit card payment acceptance. o Support for Prepaid, Credit Card, or on-account invoicing. o User authentication via Access Number and/or PIN. o Real-time communication with the central management system via included cellular package.Cellular Communication Package o Secure and reliable data transfer between access terminals and the cloud platform. o Redundant connectivity features to ensure uptime. 3.
