OPWDD’s Broome DDSO is requesting quotes for the Sherburne IRA Ramp Rebuild project. Attendance at a site visit is mandatory prior to submitting a quote. Quotes must be submitted on the provided Official Bid Form and include a materials and labor cost breakdown. As this is a Public Works Project, prevailing wages must be paid, and vendors/sub-contractors must be registered with the NYS Dept of Labor, including a copy of the certificate with the quote. The contract will be awarded to the most responsible and responsive vendor offering the lowest cost and meeting the requirements of the scope of work. The awarded vendor must submit certificates of Liability Insurance, Worker’s Compensation Insurance, completed Lobbying Law Forms, and a signed Appendix A. The Broome DDSO’s interpretation of specifications will be final and binding. In the event of a tie, the contract will be awarded to the contractor whose bid was received earliest. Vendors are reminded to adhere to all requirements and timelines outlined in the scope of work.
