Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Wamsutter, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The Town of Wamsutter, in collaboration with the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA), is seeking bids from qualified firms for the 2026 Water Tower Project. The project involves the design and construction of a new redundant tank or tower at the site of the current water tower. The scope includes site preparation and geotechnical improvements, construction of a new water tank or tower, installation of piping, valving, minor SCADA upgrades, and a pressurization system such as booster pumps if a tank is chosen. The goal is to ensure reliable potable water for the Wamsutter community as part of its critical infrastructure. The project is funded by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with oversight by WCDA, and all phases must comply with HUD and Federal regulations. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, Build America Buy America (BABA), Code of Federal Regulations, and the Copeland Act is required. Procurement must adhere to the State of Wyoming WCDA CDGB Procurement Manual, and proposers should be familiar with requirements for record keeping and conflict of interest. The project is 100% grant funded. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "2026 Water Tower Project" by the specified deadline to the Town Clerk/Treasurer at the provided address. Appointments are required for site visits.
