Site work for a water / sewer project in West Homestead, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of manhole repair and sealing, cured-in-place spot repairs, cured-in-place manhole to manhole lining, flow control, cleaning, and CCTV. Quantities are not warranted. Refer to specifications and drawings for complete information. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the contract number. Each proposal must include a certified check or bid bond payable to West Homestead Borough in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. Bid surety must be approved by the Borough and authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. The value of bid bonds must be stated in dollars and cents. The Borough reserves the right to waive any formalities or informalities or reject any or all bids, and no bid surety will be waived or returned if the bidder cannot comply with the requirements. The work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All bidders must demonstrate their ability to perform the work. No bid may be withdrawn for 65 days after the bid deadline. All excavation is unclassified. Bidders are advised to independently obtain information on subsurface conditions.
