Site work and paving for a road / highway in Danville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnish and place approximately 152 Ton of Asphalt Wearing Course, Scratch. Furnish and place 17,325 SY Asphalt Seal Coat; 16,658 SY Asphalt Fog Seal and 1,300 Gal Asphalt Joint and Crack Seal. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance, will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Asphalt Wearing Course 9.5mm Fine Grade, Scratch Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, Wearing Course, PG 64S-22, < 0.3 Million ESALS, 9.5 MM FG Mix, SRL-L (90 lb Scratch Course): Furnish and place Asphalt Wearing Course, scratch to restore the cross-section of roadway. Incidental to this item of work is Asphalt Tack Coat in accordance with the Publication 408 Section 460 on existing roadway.
