Surface preparation and coating of the 4MG South Side Reservoir exterior walls and dome. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor’s license and bid security in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid in the form of a bidder’s bond. The bidder’s bond must be executed by the bidder as principal and by surety, conditioned that if the principal’s bid is accepted and the contract awarded, the principal shall execute a contract within ten (10) days after notice of the award. If the successful bidder does not execute a contract within the ten (10) days allowed, the bidder’s bond must be forfeited and the project awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder. Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid as required by 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code. Bids that do not fully comply with the requirements of 48-01.2, North Dakota Century Code, are considered deficient and will be returned to the bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents for all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award.
