Site work and paving for a road / highway in Winfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Seal Coat: Furnish and place 34,714 SY of Asphalt Seal Coat using CRS-2PM Oil, and 34,714 SY of Asphalt Fog Seal. Base Repair: Furnish and place 615 Tons of Flexible Base Replacement, a bituminous escalator clause is included in this contract. Shoulder Backup with Prime Dust Oil: Furnish and place 335 Tons of 2RC material by widener method, compact: and furnish and place 607 Gal. of Dust Oil on prepared shoulder. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract. A certified check or performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, made payable to the municipality will be required from the lowest responsible bidder for each contract. All work and material must meet certain Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
