The City of Gillette is requesting Letters of Interest (LOI) from engineering consultants with experience in bridge design for the Senator Mike Enzi Memorial Overpass. Required services include but are not limited to: working on federally procured public works projects, bridge and roadway design, design meetings, plan reviews, public strategic communications, working with stakeholder committees, real estate and easements, permitting with Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the Wyoming Department of Transportation, experience with the Federal National Environment Protection Agency process, utility locates and design, and assistance in funding acquisition. Letters of Interest are limited to two pages and must address firm capabilities and suitability for the project. Restrictions on the use of data or information must be clearly stated in the LOI. Consultants not already in the WYDOT database must submit a Statement of Interest reflecting selection work codes and applicable licensing. Letters of Interest and Statements of Interest will be used to determine a shortlist for further proposals. Contact with City of Gillette personnel outside the Engineering Division during the selection process will result in disqualification.
