Provo City is accepting fixed-bid proposals for the modernization of five (5) existing Dover DMC elevator systems located at the Provo City Library. The project will follow a phased approach with one elevator modernized per year over five years. Elevators vary in size and require full modernization. Modernize five Dover DMC elevators over five years Replace controls, electrical, door equipment, and mechanical systems Upgrade safety systems and code compliance Testing, inspection, commissioning Provide warranty and service options All bids should cover all normal design and construction costs including site preparation, excavation, concrete, steel, coatings, fasteners, waste removal and cleanup. Qualified bidders will provide a proposal that outlines all costs and provide a proposed construction schedule. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest score justified by the procurement code.
