Sealed bids are solicited for the Strathmere Living Shoreline Project in Upper Township, Cape May County, New Jersey. Bids must be submitted either by mail or in person before the specified opening time. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for not less than ten percent of the total lump sum bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, as well as a certified statement from a bonding company guaranteeing the provision of a Performance Bond. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (Law Against Discrimination, Affirmative Action Supplement) and provide a statement of ownership per N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the opening date. The Township reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and to award a contract within available funds.
