Full removal and replacement of the existing Bartlett House roof. The work shall consist of , but not be limited to, the following general items . This scope of work is not intended to list every individual task that must be completed, nor every item that must be updated , to complete a full replacementof the roof . It is the City's intention to rely upon the expertiseof the bidders to ensure that the work completed results in the Bartlett House being fitted with a new roof that is up to date with the currentstandardsof practice in the industry . To present their bid in the most competitive light bidders are welcome , though not required , to submit with their bid an expanded scope of work statement that describes in greater detail the work they intend to complete under their bid . The City will carefully consider all materials submitted in a bidder's submission . removal of the existing roof . Remove all roof system components down to the roof sheeting, including but not limited to: shingles , low slope /flat roof system components , underlayment , drip edge , flashings . Remove all debris from the site and dispose of properly . Repair roof sheeting as necessary. - There are no known defects in the roof sheeting that will require repair . Provide a new roof system that will provide the City a minimum of a 30 year manufacturer's warranty on the materials utilized . All componentsof the roof systemshall be consistentwith the manufacturer's warranty requirements . Shingled portion : The shingles shall be CertainTeed Landmark Designer Shingles in Burnt Sienna , GAF Timberline AS II shingles in Hickory , or approved equal . The provided roof system shall include, but is not limited to, the following : o o o Aluminum drip edge Self -sealing ice and water shield , 6 feet wide at both eaves and valleys , Water -resistant synthetic underlayment designed for installation beneath asphalt shingles Architectural asphalt shingles Aluminum flashings , including fully flashed valleys , Continuous ridge vents on the ridge and hips . Low slope /flat roof portion The roof membrane shall be a 0.060 inch EPDM membrane . The roof shall be installed as a fully adhered system . Provide 1/2 " high density ISO recovery board under all low slope/flat roof areas. Repair or amend roof deck insulation as needed to provide positive drainage on all low slope /flat roof areas .
