Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Furnish and place 5,049 square yards of milling asphalt pavement, 870 tons of fine grade, and 101 linear feet of rolled curb left and right. A bituminous escalator clause is included. Millings are to be retained by the municipality. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. PA Prevailing wages apply. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract. A certified check or performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract made payable to the municipality will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
