The work consists of the construction of Storm Sewer, Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, and related items in Street Improvement District Five Hundred Ninety-Eight (598). This includes approximately 8 storm manholes, 11 inlets, 2,200 LF of storm sewer, 2,700 CY of blended base, 7,200 LF of curb and gutter, 3,800 tons of AC Superpave, and related items. The work is to be completed according to the schedule, plans, and specifications on file in the Office of the City Administrator. If awarded, the contract must be executed within ten days of the notice of award. The basis of award is the lowest and best bid, and all bids must be made on the basis of cash payment for the work. The City Commission reserves the right to hold bids for thirty days, reject any or all bids, and waive irregularities in the best interest of the City. All work is to commence on a date specified by written order from the City Commission.
