As indicated below and in attachments 1-A and 1-B The Contractor is to place the type and depth of material listed in the Schedule of Prices. All depth to be compacted in place and work to include tack coat as per PennDOT Specifications Form 408, milling of pavement notches at intersecting roads and driveways and sealing of joints and utilities. Hand or machine placed roll bituminous curb may be required. These items are to be incidental to the paving. Sealed bids are requested online for the 2026 Paving Project, which includes four different projects in Elmhurst Township, Lackawanna County. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost on PennBid. Bid security in the amount of 10% is required. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract price within 20 days of award. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the township. 1. Hand or machine placed roll bituminous curb may be required. Re-build shoulders along the edges of all paved roads and shall consist of an average compacted depth of 2.50" inches of PennDOT 2A Stone material (85 Tons).
