The City is seeking a responsible contractor to provide maintenance and repair services, parts, and the purchase of new portable pumps according to specified terms and conditions. The contractor shall provide maintenance and repair services and Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) parts or approved equals for Godwin pumps model CD100M, NC100, GDDY, CD150M, CD 200S and CD225M. Maintenance services include scheduled repairs and part replacements as per manufacturer’s recommendations, and the contractor must deliver or make available requested parts with no delivery or restocking fees charged to the City. Repairs are to be performed on an on-call basis, including emergency repairs as necessary, and the contractor must provide the option for the City to procure new pumps equivalent to the listed models. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation required, perform all work according to manufacturer’s recommended techniques and standards, and ensure adequate protection of people and property during services. Contractors must be authorized dealers, have factory-trained employees, maintain access to sufficient parts inventory, and comply with all quality, safety, and security requirements. Bidders are required to submit electronically: the completed cover page, Attachments A-H, all vendor submission requirements, all required pricing, statements regarding proprietary information, proof of training/certifications/licenses, and a maintenance plan. Alternate bid terms and nonconforming conditions will make a bid nonresponsive. The lowest total cost will be determined from the sum of all line items submitted. Bidders must ensure compliance with all laws and review the completeness of documents before submission. The City may require additional bidder qualification information and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and undertake all remedies. Work shall be conducted with the best commercial practices and only new, current-year production materials. Contractor must provide manufacturer warranties for all parts and a one-year warranty on all repairs. The contractor must also provide monthly or yearly reports upon request and adhere to the City’s requirements regarding business licenses, nondiscrimination, ethics, and insurance coverages as specified.
