The work includes approximately 350 centerline feet of urban roadway construction, approximately 400 feet of City Utilities replacement, excavation and roadway grading, rock excavation, sanitary sewer, water main, concrete curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, pavement markings and signing. Bid Alternate A includes approximately 360 centerline feet of urban roadway construction and City Utilities replacement, excavation and roadway grading, rock excavation, water main, concrete curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, pavement markings and signing. Bid Alternate B includes approximately 170 centerline feet of urban roadway construction and City Utilities replacement, excavation and roadway grading, rock excavation, water main, sanitary sewer, concrete curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, pavement markings and signing. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
