SCOPE AND SUMMARY OF WORK The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for completing the following Scope of Work during the course of the contracted demolition project. The work shall include, but not be limited to: A. The work shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and performance of all the work and services necessary or incidental to building removal including structure and all foundation removals with site restoration as indicated B. This project consists of the mass demolition of a single story elementary school building, including all related structural elements, foundation walls, sub-grade mechanical space, slab-on-grade floor systems, interior and exterior walls, doors, windows, ceilings and roof structures. Incidental building demolition work shall include, but not be limited to: i. Built-in architectural casework and furnishings not noted to be removed by Owner ii. Mechanical systems complete: equipment and distribution systems iii. Electrical systems complete: utility feeds, transformers, meters, main and distribution panels, conduit, wiring and terminations iv. Plumbing systems complete: water and sewer utilities, meters, heating systems and tanks, distribution piping, fixtures and accessories C. This project also consists of selective site demolition items identified on the Work Documents that shall include, but not be limited to: i. All site and building utilities, including: a. Telephone and internet services removed back to utility boxes in right of way b. Gas lines removed back to and capped at site entry location in right of way c. Water lines removed back to and capped at site entry location in right of way d. Sewer lines removed back to and capped at site entry location in right of way e. All underfloor piping and conduit shall be removed f. Electrical lines removed back to feed locations at existing overhead power lines g. All utility removals shall be coordinated by the awarded Contractor h. All utility disconnect and termination fees required by the individual utility companies shall be paid direct by the Owner with Contractor coordination assistance i. Awarded Contractor shall coordinate private utility locate services as needed and include the cost in base bid Asphalt paving and concrete surfaces noted on the Work Documents iii. Select vegetation and trees noted on the Work Documents iv. Select recreation equipment and fencing as noted on the Work Documents v.
