Renovation of a water / sewer project in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project is at the City of Dunedin Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), and includes providing temporary power to maintain continuous operation of the WWTP during upgrades to the existing emergency generator system. Work involves installing and operating a temporary generator, relocating and replacing generator components, upgrading associated mechanical and electrical systems, and demolishing and restoring affected facilities in accordance with the project plans and specifications. The time allotted for this project is 180 days for substantial completion Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Certificate of Insurance and a Performance and Payment Bond and meet other requirements, as set forth in the contract. The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept such bids/proposals, as are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any oral bids/proposals. Bids/proposals which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions may be disqualified. Question Deadline 05/25/2026 All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedin.gov.
