The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $382,000.00 This project consists of the drilling and testing of one (1) 12-inch diameter Upper Floridan Aquifer (UFA) production well within Amberlea Park in the City of Dunedin, Pinellas County, Florida. The work includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of the production well at the designated location. Testing of the completed well will include geophysical surveys, a video camera inspection, and a specific capacity test. During the specific capacity test, a water-quality sample will be collected and analyzed. All Prospective Bidders/Respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Dunedin Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept such bids/proposals, as are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any oral bids/proposals. Bids/proposals which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions may be disqualified. The time allotted for this project is 120 days for substantial completion. The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent ( 5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal . Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty ( 60 ) days without the consent of the City . The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Certificate of Insurance and a Performance and Payment Bond and meet other requirements , as set forth in the contract The City of Dunedin , Florida , reserves the right to reject any and all bids received , waive any irregularities or informalities , re - advertise , and award the Contract in its best interest Question Deadline 06/20/2026 All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedin.gov. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. An addendum posted online will communicate questions and answers to all respondents. The last addendum will be posted online five (5) days before the bid due.
