Sealed proposals are requested for the following: 22 tons of Superpave scratch and leveling course (9.5mm), in place; 66 tons of Superpave wearing course (9.5mm), in place; 13 tons of Superpave scratch and leveling course (9.5mm), in place; 39 tons of Superpave wearing course (19.0mm), in place. Option #1 consists of Items 1 and 2; Option #2 consists of Items 3 and 4. Liquidated damages apply at a rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must use the forms provided by the Municipality. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality (for third-class cities; for other types, at the municipality's discretion). A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract must be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after contract award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
