Furnish labor and materials for renovations to the A.C. Buchanan Building LSUA. All bids must be submitted via email as specified. Bidders requiring special accommodations must notify Louisiana State University, Office of Purchasing, no less than seven days before bid opening. Complete bidding documents may be obtained online; printed copies are not available from the Designer but can be arranged through most reprographic firms. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond written by a surety company licensed to do business in Louisiana. Surety must meet specified financial qualifications. No bid bond indicating an obligation of less than five percent is acceptable. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, with the surety meeting the required financial and licensing criteria. Bids are accepted from contractors licensed for building construction. Bidder must comply with all specified statutes and requirements. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after receipt, except as provided by law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
