Sealed proposals are requested for the Weissport Borough '2026 Road Improvements.' The work includes providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services as described in the bid documents. The main scope is road work as follows: Base White Street from Forge St to Lime St: 2,694 S.Y. Milling of Bituminous Surfaces, Scratch Leveling Course, Wearing Course. Alternate(s) White Street from Lime St to Mill St: 2,639 S.Y. Milling of Bituminous Surfaces, Scratch Leveling Course, Wearing Course. White Street from Park St to Forge St: 2,306 S.Y. Milling of Bituminous Surfaces, Scratch Leveling Course, Wearing Course. All materials must comply with PennDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and provide proof. Proposals must use provided forms. Complete sets of documents are available on the project website. All bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, payable to Weissport Borough. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price within 20 days of award. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Weissport Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or parts, delete project sections depending on budget, and waive technicalities as deemed in the Township's best interest. Final questions are due no later than 1:00 p.m. May 19, 2026. A final addendum (if required) will be issued by 4:00 p.m. on May 21, 2026.
