Site work for a mixed-use development in Broomall, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and playground / park / athletic field.
The work involves the construction of approximately 2,500 linear feet of an 8-foot-wide bituminous trail, streambank stabilization along an unnamed tributary of Darby Creek, culvert extension, and stormwater management basin retrofit. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted, and the bond must so state. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to waive any informality in a bid as deemed in the best interest of the Township. The bidder submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made electronically by an addendum duly issued electronically at PennBID. A copy of all questions and responses may be downloaded or viewed at any time by each registered bidder
