Sealed proposals are invited for furnishing all materials and performing all work for additions and renovations to Worrall Elementary School, located at 2927 Pennview Avenue, Broomall, PA 19008, for the Marple Newtown School District. Prime contracts are available for General Construction, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Construction, Plumbing Construction, Electrical Construction, and Fire Protection Construction. Each bid must be submitted on the specified Form of Proposal and accompanied by a bank cashier or Treasurer's check, or bid bond, for not less than ten percent of the proposal amount, along with the Non-Collusion Affidavit. Bidders must provide evidence of experience, qualifications, and financial ability after submission. Bidders are required to obtain website access for Bid Documents after registration and payment of a nonrefundable fee. Construction Documents can also be reviewed by appointment without charge. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked, delivered to the specified address and individual. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after opening. The School District may reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds. Bids will not be accepted from those who have not inspected the site and building.
