Renovation of an educational facility in Broomall, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all materials and performing all work for door and hardware replacements at Russell Elementary School, 2201 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008, under the General Construction contract. Each bid must be submitted on the Form of Proposal provided in the specifications and must include a bank cashier or Treasurer's check, or bid bond, for at least ten percent (10%) of the proposal's total amount, payable to the Marple Newtown School District, along with the Non-Collusion Affidavit. Bidders must be ready to provide evidence of experience, qualifications, and financial ability to fulfill the contract. Construction Documents will be available electronically after registration and payment of a nonrefundable fee. Bidders are required to review all bid documents, check for addenda, and inspect the site and building before bidding. Bids must be sealed, plainly marked for "DOOR AND HARDWARE REPLACEMENTS AT RUSSELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL," and delivered to the Administration Building to the attention of the Director of Operations. The School District may reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must furnish satisfactory Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond. The contractor certifies all existing conditions have been evaluated before bid submission and that the contract will be completed for the costs stated in the proposal and Agreement.
