Separate and sealed proposals are requested for the PRESSURE SEWER EXTENSION TO FERN HOLLOW NATURE CENTER, Contract Number 26-1. Bidding documents are available from Bankson Engineers, Inc. Both digital and printed versions can be obtained, with a nonrefundable fee for printed sets. Addenda will be issued only to those who are on record as having obtained the bidding documents. Bids are accepted only from bidders who have acquired the official documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. and are on the list of planholders. Each proposal must be submitted as a paper copy, with an original signature and original bid security, as detailed in Section B - Information for Bidders. A certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in favor of Sewickley Heights Borough, amounting to at least 10% of the proposal, must accompany each proposal. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, with workers paid not less than the minimum wage as established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after submission. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in received bids.
