Separate and sealed proposals will be received for the Glen Mitchell Road Water Line Replacement, Contract Number 26-1. Only bidders who have obtained official sets of bidding documents from Bankson Engineers, Inc. and are on their list of planholders may submit bids. Bids must be paper copies with original signatures, submitted in an envelope with original bid security as described in Section B-Information for Bidders. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in favor of Aleppo Township Authority for at least ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, requiring payment of not less than minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after filing. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. Question Deadline 05/21/2026 If any person contemplating submitting a Proposal is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Drawings, Specifications or other Contract Documents, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings or Specifications, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof. All requests for interpretation must be received by the Engineer at least five days before the bid opening.
