Renovation of a detention facility in Jamestown, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The work involves the removal and replacement of two air handling units (AHUs) located in the Special Assistance Unit (SAU) at the James River Correctional Center in Jamestown, North Dakota. Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid as specified by North Dakota regulations. A copy of the license or certificate of renewal must be enclosed in the required bid bond envelope. Each bid must include a separate envelope containing the contractor’s license and full bid security, which must equal five percent of the full bid amount in the form of a bidder’s bond. Instructions to bidders include: - Bidders must be licensed as required and provide corresponding documentation as outlined by North Dakota Century Code. - Bid security must be included as specified and formatted according to legal requirements. - Contractor personnel performing work on site must complete a background check approval process in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) of 2003 and the FBI's CJIS Security Policy.
