The work involves the removal and replacement of two air handling units (AHUs) located in the Special Assistance Unit (SAU) at the James River Correctional Center in Jamestown, North Dakota. Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid, as required by North Dakota law. A copy of the license or certificate of renewal must be included in the required bid bond envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor's license and full bid security, which must be a sum equal to five percent of the bid amount in the form of a bidder's bond. If a bidder's bid is accepted, the principal must execute the contract and provide a Contractor's Bond within 10 days of the Notice of Award. Contractor personnel performing work on site must complete a background check approval process in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) of 2003 and the FBI's CJIS Security Policy.
