Bid Package 31.1 Early Site Prep Package is part of the Skyline Elementary School & Lake Stevens Middle School Renovation and Additions Project. The bid package has a value of $2,840,000. The Owner will exclusively manage the bid process for this package. Bidders must pay special attention to Division 00 of the project specifications when preparing and submitting their bids. For bids equal to or exceeding $300,000, a Performance and Payment Bond is required, as well as a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Bid documents may be ordered or one set of plans and specifications obtained from ARC with a refundable deposit, and bidders can also view or download plans and specifications online at Builders Exchange or ARC's Public Planroom. Bidders are encouraged, but not required, to attend a pre-bid meeting. Trade contractors must recognize an agreement with the North Coast States Carpenters Union. All rules for public bidding must be followed. Bids must be submitted as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders, Section 002113, and must be on the proper bid form and fulfill all requirements. Faxed, emailed, or incomplete bids cannot be accepted. All bids shall remain valid for 90 calendar days. Bids from all interested subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged, including Small, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Disadvantaged, Veteran, and local business enterprises.
