Renovation of a medical facility in New Iberia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the CT Replacement project at Iberia Medical Center, located at 600 North Lewis Street, New Iberia, LA. The successful bidder shall furnish all materials, perform and supervise all work, coordinate, administrate, and be responsible for the entire project as described in the contract. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, according to the instructions included in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms, on a lump-sum basis, including a base bid as specified. Contractors must be licensed for building construction under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 and comply with LA R.S.38:2212 (A)(1)(c). All state and local taxes must be included in the bid amount. Liquidated damages for delay are set at $500.00 per day. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project location. The contract will be awarded or proposals rejected within sixty days of the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except as allowed by law.
