The work includes the supply of sodium hypochlorite (12% solution), coagulant (liquid), polymer (neat, liquid), and soda ash (dry), including freight to Kitimat. The chemicals are required for the first year of operation of a new water treatment plant capable of treating up to 15,292m3 of water per day. The supply agreement will be for one year, with an option to extend for an additional year, for a maximum of two years, at the Owner's discretion. Submissions must be delivered to the District of Kitimat offices by the specified closing time.
