Renovation of an educational facility in Grants Pass, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project includes interior repairs in two existing buildings due to flood damage. Work consists of replacement and repair-in-place of damaged floor finishes, wall finishes, doors, casework, restroom partitions, and fixtures. Initial demo has been performed requiring scope of remaining demo to be reviewed by potential bidders during the mandatory site walk. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished to the bidders. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly marked "FORT VANNOY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FLOOD DAMAGE RESTORATION PROJECT" and show the name and business address of the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by an unconditional cashier's check, certified check or surety bond of the bidder in the amount of 10 percent of the base bid. Unsuccessful bidders will have their security refunded to them when the contract has been awarded. Bid documents may be obtained from the HMK Company web site. Any objections to or comments upon the bid specifications must be submitted in writing to the designated regional director. No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered unless the bidder is licensed by the Construction Contractors Board of the State of Oregon. Each bid must identify whether the bidder is an Oregon resident bidder. Compliance with specified Oregon statutes regarding submission of the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form is required if the contract amount exceeds $100,000; this form may be submitted with the bid or within two hours after the bid closing time at the bid site address. Failure to provide the form may result in bid rejection. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for 60 days. All prices quoted in bids shall be firm for a period of 60 days after the bid closing date. The contract is subject to prevailing wage laws and federal wage requirements, and the corresponding wage rates are included in the bid documents.
