Material and labor to tear off all old shingles and tar paper. Replace all possible wood rot in underlay sheeting. Put down new tar paper with a 30-year shingle, green in color. New ice and water shield 6 feet up on the eaves. New soffit drip edge, ridge vent, ridge cap, and any other vent pipe boots or breather caps on shingle portion of the roof. Replace rubber roofing around all air handlers curbing, duct work, and inlets. Air handlers will need to be unhooked and removed from roof, so include machinery to lift air handlers off roof; County will be subcontracting Knope Heating and Cooling for the process of unwiring and gas removal on the units. Replace 3ft x 3ft treated decks to match existing by north and south air handlers. Include nails, caulk, roof cement, tar, flashing and whatever supplies needed for the project. Include trucking, dump-disposal fees and cleanup for old material. Contractor is responsible for all measurements, calculations, tools, and materials. Contractor is responsible to pay and obtain all permits concerning the project. Contractor is required to provide proof of insurance and liability in their bid. Contractor must include a 2-year warranty of workmanship and materials used in the project. Interested bidders are required to contact the designated person to obtain additional information, specifications and to arrange a tour of the work site. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked as specified and shall be submitted to the designated location. Emailed bids will not be accepted. Shawano County reserves the right to select or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bidding process and to select the bid deemed most advantageous to Shawano County in its sole discretion.
