This item shall also include any necessary facilities, utilities, supplies, storage, submittals, permits, bonds, licenses/certifications, and all other costs incurred or labor and operations for which there is no specific pay item, but which must be performed prior to beginning the other items under the Contract. B: Initial Inspection & Planning: Prior to conducting any work, an initial inspection of the structure shall be performed to determine the need for protection against hazardous gases or oxygen-depleted atmosphere and the need for flow control or flow diversion. If required, a plan for flow control or bypass will be submitted to the City for review and approval. C: Surface Preparation: Surface will be prepped to SSPC-SP13/NACE No. 6 standards by methods of abrasive blasting, grinding, or water jetting. Includes removal, transport, and disposal of existing liner and any abrasive materials used. D: Application of Liner: A three (3)-layered lining system comprised of a moisture barrier, surfacer, and final corrosion barrier will be installed using manufacturer specs and recommendations. Total thickness of the multi-layer liner system shall be a minimum of 500 mils. E: Final Inspection: Final liner system shall be completely free of pinholes, voids, and excess liner strands. Any liner applied to non-concrete surfaces, such as pipe inverts, inlets, and outlets, will be removed.
