Notice is hereby given that the Village of Wilmette will receive bids for the replacement of the Village's coagulant (Poly Aluminum Chloride (PACl), DelPAC) bulk storage tanks. The proposed work is officially known as Coagulant Bulk Storage Tank Replacement, as further described in the Specifications section. A bid bond is required. A required pre-bid meeting for all bidders will be held at the Village's Water Plant, 200 Lake Avenue Wilmette, IL 60091. This is the only time bidders will have access to the work site. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is required to submit a bid. The Water Plant is a load environment and bidders are responsible for bringing and using their own hearing protection. Bidders wishing to attend the site visit must send an email to request a reservation. Bidders must provide written acknowledgment of each addendum issued with their submitted bid. Oral explanations are not binding. No clarifications, interpretations or addenda shall be issued after the stated deadline. Any questions related to this request for bid must be submitted in writing. All other communications between a bidder and Village staff, public officials, or consultants concerning any part of this solicitation is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. The deadline for submitting questions is 2:00 pm local time 06/02/2026.
