Work to be performed includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the asphalt overlay of approximately 0.5 miles of residential streets, consisting of temporary traffic control, pavement repairs, asphalt planning, full width and full depth asphalt pavement removal, hot mix asphalt paving, shoulder restoration, utility adjustments, and pavement markings. Bidders shall submit their bids electronically. Bidders are responsible for allowing sufficient time for electronic transmission to ensure timely receipt. Late submittals will not be accepted. There will be no public bid opening. Contractors are responsible for independently reviewing the project site and becoming familiar with existing conditions. Submission of a bid constitutes the bidder's acknowledgment that they have examined the site and are satisfied as to the conditions under which the work will be performed. Contractor questions must be submitted through the Procurement Portal by the specified deadline. A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive minor irregularities.
