Site work and paving for a civil project in Mercer Island, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for asphalt overlay of approximately 1.2 miles of residential streets consisting of: temporary traffic control, pavement repairs, asphalt planing, full width and full depth asphalt removal, hot mix asphalt paving, shoulder restoration, utility adjustments, and pavement markings. Bidder questions are to be directed to Ian Powell, Street Engineer, by email only at ianpowell@mercerisland.gov. The City will receive questions until 2:00 PM on May 23, 2025. Questions received after this date will not be answered. All questions and responses will be posted in an addendum by May 27, 2025 to the Builders Exchange site. Engineers Estimated Cost: $850,000 to $1,050,000 The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities. A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total price must accompany each bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
