Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Mercer Island, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The City of Mercer Island is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering consultants to provide professional design services for the replacement of Sewer Pump Stations 19 and 21. Both stations, originally constructed in 1966, have reached the end of their useful life. Work at each site will include removal and replacement of pumps, piping, mechanical systems, and associated electrical and control equipment; repair, rehabilitation, or replacement of concrete vault structures; and utility reconfiguration, modernization, and site improvements. Interested firms must schedule and attend a site visit prior to the questions deadline to be eligible for award. Statement of Qualifications must be received via electronic transmission before the specified deadline. The subject line of the submission email must be clearly titled: “SOQ Sewer PS 19 & 21 Replacement Design.” Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
