Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Mercer Island, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Illuminate the Mountains to Sound Greenway (I-90) Trail along the north side of the tall retaining wall from Shorewood to Town Center, a distance of approximately half a mile. This project may be eligible for grant funding via WSDOT's Pedestrian & Bicycle program, and the City's application will be strengthened by completing design early. As of As of May 8, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This project is still in the conceptual phase. A design firm has been selected and no timeline for construction has been established yet. Construction is not expected for at least two years. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
