Base Bid Site 1: Complete a 2” shim on the full length and width of Academy Drive, a Class 3 section of paved road maintained by the Town of Sharon. Bid Alternate Site 2: Pave the Carpenter Road Apron, which connects Carpenter Road (a Class 3 highway) to Beaver Meadow Road (a Class 2 highway) in Sharon. Type of Construction: Expertise in municipal road construction is required, including installation of bituminous concrete paving. Scope of Work: 1. Perform all services specified in ATTACHMENT A, which is considered part of this Invitation to Bid by reference. 2. Submissions may recommend additional or alternative services which are believed to provide more efficient and/or comprehensive means to meet the Town’s project goals as set forth in ATTACHMENT A. 3. Terms and conditions may be further defined in a formal contract. Instructions to bidders: - Bids may be submitted by mail, in person, or electronically.
