Site work for a water / sewer project in East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are solicited online via the PennBid Program for the Gladstone Manor Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. The work includes Cured in Place Pipe lining (CIPP) of approximately 1,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer main and the repair of 10 manholes along the sanitary sewer line. The project location runs from Madison Road and Eldon Avenue, along the alignment from Manhole #203 through Shrigley Park, terminating at the Delaware County Joint Authority system. Bids must be submitted on provided forms and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed in Pennsylvania, amounting to at least ten percent (10%) of the total price bid. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. This is a federally funded project, subject to various federal requirements including equal opportunity provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act, and Section 3 Final rule for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
