The scope of work includes 345 linear feet of concrete curb, 1,460 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 6 ADA ramps, 2 trees, and 800 square yards of mill and overlay of street. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Each bidder must submit with his bid, security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid made payable to the order of the Borough of Morton. The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that this project is assisted with federal funds, and various federal requirements apply as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to equal opportunity provisions. Davis- Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act and Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds, and the requirement of a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price.
