This project is for a contractor to construct water storage tank insulation improvements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Scope of Work: The contractor shall replace the existing roof insulation system and rehabilitate the interior roof coating system of the water storage tank (WST), including: o Removing and disposal of the existing roof insulation, o Installation of new spray-applied high density polyurethane foam insulation with polyurea sealing coat, o Installation of a complete containment system, including dehumidification and heating, to support surface preparation and coating application, o Abrasive blasting and surface preparation of the interior roof surface, o Application of a three-coat protective coating system to the interior roof surface, and o Application of a three-coat coating system to appurtenances including the ladder and safety cage, handrail, center vent, and hatch covers. Work shall be completed in accordance with the attached drawings, and specifications, and applicable approvals. The contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and disposal necessary to complete the work. All waste materials generated from this project shall be handled and disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations. The contractor shall provide all construction project management required for successful completion of the work. Tasks include, but are not limited to, preparation and submission of submittals, and request for information, coordination of labor and subcontractors, coordination with construction administrator, project engineer, and inspector(s). Questions Prior to the Deadline for Receipt of Bids: All questions shall be addressed in writing and directed to the Procurement Officer. The deadline for submission of questions is 10 days prior to the ITB deadline. This will allow time for an addendum to be issued if one is required. It will also help prevent the opening of a defective proposal. No questions other than written shall be accepted and no response other than written will be binding upon VSW, an addendum will be published and issued to all offerors by email.
