Description

Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a medical facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and for the construction of a 3,800-square-foot medical facility.

3,800 SF new addition tying into the East side of the existing Mitchell Cancer Institute, housing an Elekta linear accelerator. The new addition includes a heavily reinforced concrete vault encompassing the linear accelerator, outfitted with radiation shielding equipment and requirements. Pre-qualification is required for this project in accordance with Code of Alabama, 39-2-4.
