Renovation of a military facility in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The required work includes replacing the existing aging fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems with new non-proprietary fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems at the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway. The existing systems are experiencing frequent false alarms and are difficult for local service organizations to maintain. The intent is to install systems that can be readily serviced by local providers. Work includes demolition and replacement of the existing fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems across multiple buildings, installation of a new electronic access control system with card reader access for selected doors, and replacement of selective doors, frames, and door hardware. The contractor is responsible for minor patching, painting, and firestopping in all areas affected by the work to restore existing conditions. Optional work may include installation of a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for selected buildings and installation of exterior lighting to support video surveillance cameras. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete all contract requirements. Location: Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway, 401 North Hamilton Street, Saint Croix Falls, WI 54024. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
