This contract is for full maintenance services for elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and lifts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Facilities Services. All equipment must be kept in first quality operating condition and comply with the current American Standard Safety Code for elevators (ANSI-A17-1), the ANSI Inspection Manual (ANSI-A17.2), and all other applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, and codes. The contractor is required to provide a comprehensive maintenance program in accordance with ANSI standards. The university will supply normal utilities such as electricity, lights, and water necessary for performing the contract. The contract will have an initial term of five years, with the option for the university to renew annually for up to five additional years. Certain equipment items are excluded from the contract, including underground or buried piping and jack casing, smoke and fire sensors not part of the elevator controls, refinishing or replacement of car enclosure or doors, and main line power switches, breakers, and feeders to the controller. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with all stated terms and conditions and any issued addenda. Question Deadline 05/18/2026 at 1:00 PM ET
