Proposals must be submitted without including excise, sales, or compensating use taxes. No proposal may be withdrawn once received. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, gender, color, or national origin. By submitting a bid, each bidder certifies compliance with the Iran Divestment Act. The owner is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes in New York State, cities, and counties for materials supplied under this contract. The Town Board reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any or all proposals received. The bid opening location is accessible to persons with disabilities, and special accommodations can be arranged with advance notice.
