Furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for Miami County's 2026 Asphalt Concrete Resurfacing Program of various county and township roads according to specifications on file. Bids shall be on a unit price basis and written on proposal blanks available at the Office of the Miami County Engineer. The minimum wage to be paid for all classes of labor employed on this Contract shall conform to the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements as determined by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must be prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the appropriate work types. Bidders shall submit a BID GUARANTY as a guarantee that they will enter into a Contract if successful, either as a bond for the full bid amount or as a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid. Sealed bids must be addressed to the Board of Miami County Commissioners and delivered by the stated date and time. Bids should be marked, "BID FOR 2026 ASPHALT CONCRETE RESURFACING PROGRAM." The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, award the contract with a reduction of up to 10% of the bid quantity, and select the lowest and best bid in their judgment.
