Sealed bids are solicited for Janitorial Supplies, Assorted Pipes and Fittings, Mosquito Control Solvents and Products, and Crushed Stone with unit prices effective for the specified period. Bids must be submitted on designated bid forms, either in paper or electronic format. Preference will be given to materials, supplies, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Louisiana, provided quality is equal to competitors. All bids must be plainly marked with the bid number on the outside of the envelope. The right to reject any and all bids for just cause is reserved. Bids may be held for up to forty-five days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to award. Minority-owned firms, women-owned businesses, and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Special accommodations for persons with disabilities must be requested at least seven days prior to bid opening.
